EMAPis characterized as a T-cell pseudolymphoma, the cell populations of which are composed of T-helper- and T-suppressor cells in a ratio of 2:1. EMAP can therefore not be differentiated immunohistologically from the lymphocytic infiltration of Jessner-Kanof.
