Actinic granuloma
Actinic granuloma is a granulomatous reaction occurring in profoundly sun-damaged skin.
Appearing as an erythematous papule, the lesion expands as a red, raised ring, often with central atrophy being evident.
Lesions are usually asymptomatic
Treatment:
- The application of potent topical glucocorticoids to the advancing edge is often effective.
- Intralesional triamcinolone can also be effective.
- Cryotherapy can also be used.
