Papular Urticaria

 

Papular urticaria occurs as episodic, symmetrically distributed, pruritic, 3- to 10-mm urticarial papules that result from a hypersensitivity reaction to the bites of insects such as mosquitoes, fleas, and bedbugs. This condition occurs mainly in children. The lesions tend to appear in groups on exposed areas such as the extensor aspects of the extremities.
